This Limited Edition art piece was created and signed by Andy Goralski, world renowned sports artist. Please see more about Andy below. Andy is a good friend of mine, as has been in an exclusive contract with my former company over the last two years. Andy is also my favorite sports artist, which one of the reasons we pursued the partnership. What makes this piece extremely rare is that many of the America’s Pack Lithos went unsigned. At Legends, we have had some of these signed by LeRoy Butler, Gilbert Brown, Santana Dotson, etc… To find this piece signed by Reggie is very rare indeed and extremely difficult to find in the secondary retail market. You will receive a random numbered piece from the edition. Andy created this piece, in honor of the SuperBowl 31 victory over the New England Patriots. This piece commemorates the celebration that ensued following the victory. It is hand-numbered and hand signed by Andy. This litho measures 30 x 21 1/2, the image is 25 x 16 inches. This is the perfect piece of memorabilia for any Packer Backer completing their Lambeau Field or Super Bowl XXXI collection. I acquired these last remaining White signed lithographs directly from the publisher. During my career in the business I have not seen any signed by Reggie, just these. This piece of memorabilia comes with an official Certificate of Authenticity , Please see all of the images provided. Also includes the shown photo of Reggie from the signing!! I have a few of these lithographs left in my collection. Some collectors have an affinity for certain edition numbers as well, trust me I know, I’m one of them. Contact me with any questions. I have attended a majority of my former companies’ signings over the last few years including Greg Jennings, AJ Hawk, Brian Urlacher, LeRoy Butler, Robert Brooks, Thomas Jones, Andrew Bogut, Jennie Finch, Mason Crosby, Donald Driver, Gilbert Brown, Tommie Harris, Bernard Berrian, Ben Sheets, Corey Hart, Prince Fielder, Devin Hester to name a few. In addition, I’ve acquired some of my collection directly from our vendor partners Steiner Sports, Mounted Memories, Official Brett Favre, TriStar Productions, Upper Deck Authenticated UDA, Schwartz Sports, Radtke Sports and many more. Lastly, we have a partnership with world renowned artist, Andrew Andy Goralski, which means I have acquired his recently created artwork over the last two years, and many of his pieces from the past. About Artist Andy Goralski. Walter Payton , John Elway, Brett Favre, Bart Starr. What do these athletes have in common? All of them have had their portraits painted by andy Goralski. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Andy developed an interest in art at an early age. Goralski has always been a passionate sports fan. I try to capture the heart of the athlete Im painting, he explains. For many of the people who collect my work, the players are like family. They see them on TV almost every day. They know what they look like from all angles. Thats why its so important to paint them as realistically as possible, he adds. Although adept in both oils and acrylics, Andy prefers to work in pastels, a trait that also sets him apart, since many artists shy away from this often difficult to use medium. Pastels can be hard to control and it can be difficult to maintain detail with them, although Im convinced that the natural texture of a persons face cannot be achieved with other mediums Andy explains. Each work is done one layer at a time. Andy begins by sanding a heavy-weight museum-quality paper until he achieves the proper tooth. He then meticulously layers pigments to achieve the desired effect. His unique layered style allows his works to take on a three dimensional quality. Pastels are pure pigment, the same pigment used to manufacture oil and acrylic paints, without a liquid binder. Since they are not composed of liquid, pastels can last virtually forever. Acrylics and oils are subject to cracking and fading as they age. Some prints are difficult to find and may be priced today well above their original issue price. Collectability is a crucial part of Goralski portfolio. We want our collectors to benefit from a strong aftermarket. We sincerely hope that all editions will sell out; then our collectors have an opportunity to resell their prints for more then what they paid initially. Even if they choose not to resell their prints, they appreciate knowing that they have a piece of art that will increase in value. Goralski takes great care in reproducing his work. I consider the reproduction method an extension to my studio, said Goralski. Goralski gets directly involved in the printing process insuring that each print meets his quality standards. Each print is inspected and then signed and numbered by the artist. Selected fourth overall in 1984 NFL Supplemental Draft. Recorded more sacks (124) than games played (121) in eight seasons with Eagles. Became Packers all-time sack leader with 68.5. Recorded 12 seasons with 10-plus sacks. NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1987, 1991, 1998. Elected to 13 straight Pro Bowls. Named All-Pro 13 of 15 seasons including 10 as first-team selection. Born December 19, 1961 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Died December 26, 2004 at age of 43. Reggie White earned the nickname “The Minister of Defense” as a senior at Tennessee. The moniker surely had to do with something more than the fact that he became an ordained minister at the age of 17. That became instantly apparent when he began his pro football career. White, who spent two seasons in the ill-fated United States Football League, made a memorable debut in the National Football League with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4 of the 1985 season. Despite the fact he played in only 13 games that season, White tied for the team lead with 13 sacks and was named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year. The following season, White picked up 18 more sacks to earn his first of an astounding 13 straight Pro Bowl trips. In 1987, White recorded one of the finest seasons ever posted by a defensive lineman. In the season debut against the Washington Redskins, he sacked quarterback Doug Williams, stripped the ball, and then picked it up and raced 70 yards for the first of his two career touchdowns. In just 12 games during the strike-shortened season White amassed 21 sacks to earn his first of two consecutive league sack titles. In 1993, after recording 124 sacks in 121 games over eight seasons in Philadelphia, White became the first big name free agent to switch teams. He joined the Green Bay Packers and instantly helped turn the fortunes of the once-proud franchise. In Super Bowl XXXI he recorded a record three sacks. Reggie played two more years in Green Bay. During that period he added 27 more sacks to his repertoire. White retired as the NFL’s all-time sack leader with 198. He was named to the NFL’s All-Decade Teams of the 1980 and 1990s, the 75th Anniversary Team, and was voted first-team All-Pro 10 times in his 15-year career. Be sure to add me to your.
